  1. 1. QOTSA (Due to Reg) - Seeing them in November though 2. Viagra Boys (Clashed with the Hu) 3. Candi Staton (Elton Clash of sorts) 4. TWOD (see above) Sunday was absolutely stacked. 5. Texas (Clashed with DJ Yoda)
  2. Wouldnt crack my favourite Pyramid headliners top 3 personally, mainly due to his voice, but I still had a good time. I'll be 100% honest, I only knew who Brandon Flowers was (& Im not into the killers) - so his guests were lost on me. Tiny Dancer, Dont Go Breaking My Heart & Are you ready for love were great. Still unsure who the other 1 was or the random tune of his own he played. No interest in that. 1. Stevie Wonder - Yet to be beaten for me.
  3. To me it was a perfect Foo Fighters slot. Im not a huge fan, it's all too samey for me - but an hour was great. If they'd have played Monkey Wrench, it'd have been perfect.
  4. I went to Prodigy over Blur. Half my mates who went to Blur left saying it was sh*t. No regrets, in fact it's one of my favourite Glastonbury sets.. my first time there. One of my favourite ever bands. It was perfect for me.
  5. Going to something because you feel you "should" rather than what you enjoy is always 1 to regret IMO. And being bothered to be there on your own. I've stopped doing that now. I say that, having just watched Elton instead of QOTSA, but Im seeing them in November - so this was a chance to do both as I love both of them. I watched Young Fathers on my own whilst everyone else I knew was at Fred Again. The best decision of the weekend. In the past I have watched things such as the Gorillaz, just to be with my group. I'd rather enjoy who I am watching.
  6. Best sweet thing I had.. Waffles from the strip between Pyramid & San Remo. Shame the woman serving was horrible. Not to me mind you, but to the lady in behind me with 3 kids. She was Pretty nasty to her about "where you need to stand". The waffles, strawberries, choc sauce & ice cream were absolutely top though.
  7. My mate had on a Chilie, Ben Brereton Diaz shirt. He is Blackburn fan. I didnt wear one, but saw someone with an Oldham Shirt on, who when I spoke to him, was from Lincoln.
  8. QOTSA clashing with Elton The Hu clashing with Viagra Boys They were my main frustrations... meaning in the grand scheme of things, it went off well
  9. Gutted to have missed that, but decided I needed sleep. After Leftfield, I went to the last hour of GnR & then for a kip.
  10. All scores out of 10 Thursday Panic Shack (Truth stage) 6.5 Friday The Sixsters 6 The Hives 7.5 DJ Yoda 8.5 Churnups 7.5 Young Fathers 10 Camelphat 7.5 Eli Brown 7.5 Fatboy Slim 8 Haai 8.5 Saturday Rick Astley 8 Working Mens Club 7.5 African Head Charge 7 Dreadzone 7 Manics 7.5 The Pretenders 8 Leftfield 8.5 Final Hour of GnR 7.5 Sunday Windrush Choir 6.5 Sophie Ellis Bextor 7.5 Cat Stevens 6 (The caveat is, I heard it whilst sitting at the tent, was probably better from the field) The Hu 9 Elton John 8 Henge 7 So my top 3 were actually 1. Young Fathers 2. The Hu 3. DJ Yoda / Leftfield But I didnt see anything bad all week
  11. How do I download a set? I want the Young Fathers one. Is there an app required?
  12. Michael Eavis - My way (Park Stage) on Thursday
  13. Wanted to see this, but the heat was too much. Was in the Glade instead.

    Odd Moments

Rammstein - Deutschland being one of the warm up tunes through the Pyramid 7 or 8 mins before Elton John. I was laughing at that.
  15. Panic Shack - Gay Bar (Truth Stage) Rick Astley - Highway to Hell (Pyramid) Elton John - Pinball Wizard (Pyramid) Sophie Ellis Bextor - Like a Prayer (Pyramid) Those 4 were my favourites
  16. I got lucky this year. Had no must sees on the Saturday. Went to the Glade & got to an area near the front, that got a breeze. The plan was to mooch about & to check out a few things. Once I got to the Glade & that spot - I watched African Headcharge (who I'd never heard of) & then Dreadzone. It helped me being there tbh.
  17. Dosa - near Carhenge. I was impressed with that

    The Levels

Please tell me someone recorded Fatboy Slim mixing Smack my Bitch up followed by Are you ready for love - Reg dwight on Griday at the Levels?!
  19. Was it quiet all the way through? Chuffed they smashed it, I am gutted to have missed it though. Roll on November
  20. Rhubarb with the Chocolate crumble. If I get a ticket next year, Ill try it again.
  21. This is gunna sound odd to some... Crumble Shack for the first time. I wasnt that impressed tbh. It was ok, but had better, the crumble was a bit hard. I did go at about 11.30 at night mind. Need to add Dosa to my honourable mention list. That really hit the spot on Saturday afternoon.
  22. Best - Cajun BBQ at WH (again) Honourable mention, Chorizo Hash from Nashvilles. Worst - Boneless Chicken box from a place near the band stand. Wasnt horrible, but it was expensive & bland. The chips were poor.
  23. I arrived as Civil War was ending, so I got there at a good time.
