basically we got a possibility of a huge downpour over the weekend pre-fest but looking like plain sailing after that. hoping for warmer temps to dry off the rain before 150k ppl turn up on the wednesday!

like everyone else i just got covid (for the first time) however other than that had a great time. l went W2 and like others had some issues with the setup of the crowd and bars. but ultimately, the music is where it matters. i thought the sound was great at all the stages i went to and the performences were great. lorde, strokes, dua lipa, the smile, tame impala, black koffee, pheonix were all excellent. the bar staff were hillarioulsly under trained or trained by someone whos never done a festival in their life and trained them over zoom or something. the water running out on the last day was like just a shrug your shoulders and just laugh about it. The crowd control or lack of it seemed dangerous on the main stages. i didnt like the lack of crush barrier , though it never caused any issues for me even though i was at the front it just didnt *look* safe enough. im no expert but seemed it could have been dangerous. why these festivals make you take your lid of your water bottle when its 30c and ppl are off their tits is crazy. more likely to die from dehydration than a watter bottle hitting you. The vip bridge situation was dumb too. we got locked out of grimes when you could cleary see their was space and my mates who were their messaging telling us theres loads of space. but ultimately we had a great time as always at primavera. we got lucky with our flat which was a 5min walk to the front gate which really helped our experience massively.

the primavera set was so good! the crowd where on it and she fed off the crowd. was the best set i saw on the weekend and the new songs come across MUCH better live. become a must see pre kendrick now.

all worrying stuff. i feel bad for wk1 people because sorting it while the festival is live but it HAS to be done. get people to pull all nighters and sort out some crowd flow issues or something. they have said they are doubling water fountains and hiring more staff. youd hope the 4 days between wk1 and wk2 means they seriously sort out the issues.

know a local there who ive met a few times at prima and just msged him to see what he is saying. he said its a very anxious enviroment , very very busy and nobody can get a drink . massively oversold. stay safe ppl

my tickets are blatently gonna arrive while im at primavera and im going to be shatting me pants all week

bit weird so wee park at sticklelinch, they have to then get the shuttle bus to PED A to get their ticket then get the shuttle bus back? we want to walk through the gates together after all these years damn it! guess another 1hour wont hurt after waiting 3 years 😄

deffo am not, the issue seems to be the post code / email used. i can see the book ref edit: fecking hell its on the person who paids EMAIL address not postcode or any of the registrations or the buyer. never had that before. they all have to collect their tickets from box office as he is living in AUS . well i guess the next question is, wheres the box office. we are all sticklelinch (new worthy view).... how do we get their tickets?!

hgmm the email doesnt state the lead booker. the person who paid already has a ticket from 2020 and paid up their balance. so its going to one of the 4 in the group but no idea which one! or if its individually. EDIT: ive tried the booking ref and the postcodes for ever person in the group and nothing. bit worrying. we got a booking confirm email with all the correct info on it when we got the tickets in the resale..

would be sad but would also solve my wolf alice dilema
