info for the san remo set? she accidentally posted it on her IG then removed it a few weeks ago (west holts and san remo). looking at the poster and going off last years poster it looks like she will be roughly 1.30/2.30pm slot. no way of knowing for sure.

Madres is such a superb album, going to be one of the highlights for sure.

i think at this stage its pretty obvious shes a replacement for stevie wonder which is why idles suddenly went from not playing as they didnt like the slot they were given to headlining the other stage.

going off previous stage times and position on the posters plus what con man told someone here the other day. con man said (before the poster dropped) they are 3pm friday other stage which is now confirmed. Sofia Ks position on the lineup suggests a 2/2.30 slot and barry cant swim place on the poster suggests a 2-2.45 slot. i hope im wrong and we get a few acts in before them to move them.

ill be honest im a huge fan and im not going to see her. shes the type of act i go see at her own gig rather than headline glastonbury. at glasto you have options, its the last night. do i want to see a dreamy rnb / soul set or do i want to dance my nut off to justice? hell id go for the emotional music of the national over sza too. not a knock on sza, its just not the music id watch at night on the pyramid stage. I think the crowd will be very quiet too.

justice are a wierd one, they sound fine on their albums but live is just a different animal. their 2017 set is on YouTube somewhere

eh? what an odd comment. the weeknd. taylor, orod, sza are not exactly bargain basement pop acts... yes its not chin scratching stuff but its still some very well written music that entertains and gets people music. it has both art and entertainment.

i still cant believe sza would headline the pyramid... its a big leap of faith by the festival. a brave one. got to applaud them. also if she can headline with a such low tempo music for the most part, then that should open up avenues for other music to headline... which i dont really mind. i always thought acts like bon iver, frank ocean, tame impala were too slow for the pyramid... maybe theres a chance in the future... i mean at some point we have to start taking a chance on new headline acts. we cant complain about coldplay and then complain that new acts "arent big enough" etc.
