  1. It was £112 last time he played so that was even more of a bargain.
  2. Coachella is in April and we're talking about what was happening mid-March.
  3. Prove that please. EDIT: also as Martini Police said, things escalated very quickly in the days and weeks following. So if something cancelled 15-20 days later then that's another thing.
  4. Bit rude that they didn't release the 2021 lineup.
  5. We were being told to wash our hands at that point. We got WFH orders the following Monday. We got a three-week lockdown nearly two weeks later. The festival was definitely 'going ahead' when it was announced. Batshit to think that the festival had some insider knowledge about the severity of COVID and then just released the lineup for a laugh. I also don't subscribe to the belief that some amazing American acts called up and removed themselves from the lineup just before the announcement either.
  6. It’s just a shame Arctic Monkeys turned that Royal Albert Hall gig into the worst live album of all time. Should have just deleted the tracks from the phone it was all recorded on.
  7. Good points maybe she will be on the John Peel Stage
  8. Eden Project? Chances are they agreed a 'northern exclusive' because there's fuck all up here, and then they left the option open for southern shows if they came up. Then they couldn't wangle anything so the northern exclusive just becomes their English exclusive.
  9. Hamish Hawk has confirmed himself:
  10. About 3pm on the Other would be a good time. Look forward to it.
  11. Loads of festivals made announcements today. 🤷
  12. He’s probably just going off of what we’ve seen - which is Paul McCartney all but confirming himself on Twitter.com
  13. Here is where Fatboy Slim headlining the Other is clearly a replacement for Doja Cat
  14. Different acts, audiences and appeals.
  15. I don't agree. It's a huge shame for young rock artists if they are getting to the right level to be blocked from headlining because the festival needs some act who has headlined two times before as a comforter for peeps upset by Ariana Grande being one of the headliners. Besides, it's not like the people going to see Coldplay headline for the umpteenth time aren't the ones baying for Sam Fender or Royal Blood to get headline slots. They're massively mainstream rock acts. They're not the risk. Tbf they probably eventually will and it's just us overthinking the hell out of it as always.

    Kanye West

Yeah, it's hard to muster any enthusiasm about this release. Obviously he's the GOAT but we've just had Donda and this feels unnecessary. I am curious to hear the Jack Harlow feature nonetheless. He's very different to Ye's current style and I'm wondering how he'd fit, but I've been loving Nail Tech this week and would be optimistic about that one. But really, gimme those Fivio and Push albums asap.
  17. Having no new rock headliners because they already promoted 50 rock headliners before now, back when they weren't promoting pop or rap headliners, would be fucking garbage.
  18. Neil freed you and you came back?
  19. I'm so ready but also not at all ready.
