They were actually booked for other festivals and then unbooked from those festivals. We don’t know exactly why but that definitely happened so it’s plausible that the info about them headlining the Other Stage (which came with the Billie Eilish info) was right but didn’t maintain to announcement. Nice to see you back btw 👋

A package holiday would definitely detail its main selling points though. It's mad for this place to be at each others' throats over lineup speculation for 9 months of a year and then suddenly the lineup doesn't matter when it comes to stumping up the money. If anything it matters less for other festivals where people just chill out, wait for an announcement, tickets go on sale and they go anyway.

Sometimes but it's usually when Emily is there and a bit tiddly. They're naturally not in the mix for Best Festival this year so probably no reason to show up. Long trek for a free bar.

It’s only a week earlier than 2020 was but I agree. These things are defined by artists not wanting to announce until such a date, rather than them not having the names together yet.
