Saw Skunk Anansie at V festival in I think… 2003 (those were the days!) will be there this year
-
Eye mask 👍 agree re groundsheet, we had a blanket but it was bone dry
-
According to Gav there is no sign of anything settled for late June. This is unsettling 😭
-
I stayed in one for the Glastonbury extravaganza in blistering heat (2018?) and it was certainly better than a standard tent. Nice bit of ventilation
-
There is a six person (£950) tent still for sale in sticklinch if that’s any good. Parking still available

I had my face glittered in the theatre & circus one year (for a small fee) I think some of the stalls also do it/face painting now

Worthy View Tickets are they sent by email?
Wherethewildthingsare replied to The_Wiseman's topic in Questions
for the tent you’ll just get an email with a barcode that can be scanned for each person staying (and no more so you have to give names in advance). In 2019 I didn’t get this till June 12th -
Ah thanks, will give that a try
-
Didn’t realise it started that early, online or are you local?
-
It’s a highlight for me to tune in on the car journey on the way down. Also take a little solar radio to listen to in the morning.

A lot of the sticklinch non scout tents are from podpads so may be put up by them. I had my confirmation for WV on June 12th in 19 and then a tent number on 24th (2 days before I think). WV did have its own twitter but not much on there

It should be EE as they sponsor the app/recharge etc

What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury 2022?

Bought a new rain poncho as a sacrifice to the weather gods. -
Coach tickets - do we all need to be present?
Wherethewildthingsare replied to Qwerty1234567890's topic in Questions
I would say this refers to the walk from the campsite to the festival site which will be better for those with mobility issues, young kids etc but not for encouraging the use of public transport rather than cars to get to the festival in the first place. -

Interesting that Sticklinch has been sold as a more accessible alternative to the WV hill yet without a shuttle… -

I think I’m coming down with a cold… better now I suppose -
Would have preferred Feeder tbh (also local band) but I’m going on Saturday so get Gruff Rhys…

Very subdued white sticker this year. Not as obviously concert tickets as usual. The postman handed them to me at the door but I didn’t sign. When I checked the tracking out of interest he had signed for them

There’s no shuttle to Sticklinch. Someone has emailed to ask

This is cracking thanks !

Airbed, Roll Mat, Self Inflating Mat, Camp Bed and so on
Wherethewildthingsare replied to JoeyT's topic in Chat
The decathlon base is really good, use it with a 10 SIM a lot at home as a spare bed. Worth lugging the pump but as someone pointed out previously, there should be a few about with all those fresh and black air tents! -
Fabulous thank you!
-
We have fairy lights and flags on the tent as much as to stop lost others entering it by mistake as to find it ourselves l

The “posh” tents are in sticklinch this year so you could be anywhere. They were nearer the car park but further from the festival gate. There are usually helpful sorts with wheelbarrows around but I bring a trolley anyway ps would always bring a rucksack in case of mud

Just posted this over in chat but for your info: received the email on 12th June in 2019 and the tent number on 24th with this map of WV
