Visions Festival 2016

First wave of acts announced... Some names here that will go down well.

 

 

Has anyone been to this? I've been meaning to go for a couple of years but I've never been in London at the right time. Would like to see Lightning Bolt.

That's a pretty nice first announcement. I went the year before last and it was good, but we basically stayed in one venue, and I heard that people had trouble getting into the bigger venues later on in the day.

thanks ... tho I've just corrected the link, as the one you'd used wasn't using the 'www' subdomain so we wouldn't have collected commission.

Went to this last year to catch The Antlers, it's alright, nothing amazing. Don't reckon I'll be back this year but it does the job if you like the acts it's booked. But yeah there are some queues so be prepared for that, when I arrived at the church a massive queue wrapped right around the area outside it. Moved reasonably quickly at least, but when I got in half way through Jens Lekman's set it was still very much empty - must have been playing to almost no one when he went on!
