Hello,

My name is Elies, I'm a youngster from Barcelona and I'm a music festival lover. I'm currently working on a project about sustainability at music festivals. At the beginning I was not conscious or interested in this topic at all. However, this last summer I had the opportunity to attend to a conference called "Towards a sustainable music festival model" hosted by "Bona Nit Barcelona", a sustainable music festival held in Barcelona, which raised my curiosity and interest on this subject. (See more info about the festival here. Additionally, you can watch one of the conference participant's contribution here).

I've decided to set up this topic because I think many other people who love music festivals may well feel interested and attracted by this goal. The aim of this post is to let everybody interested to express and share ideas, proposals, suggestions and open discussions. I believe we can help developing interesting initiatives in short-mid term for music festival organisers. Let's go green!

Just to give you a precise idea on what I am currently interested in, let me share with you some sources of info related to it:

To start with, I would appreciate if you could share your current views on this subject, by participating in this short survey I have just set up for my research project. This would hopefully allow everybody to express their views while at the same time, help me on my project, of course, through an anonymous fashion. I promise to share the results publicly here, once the project is over.

Please feel free to share your views and proposals. I am open to all kind of opinions and contributions. The more we share, the better outcome we'll get.

Thank you in advance for your participation.

Thank you very much Yoghurt on a Stick! You've been very helpful for my research work. Also, thanks for your suggestion, but the festival your link refers to, I already knew about it. The co-founder was also among the speakers who came to Barcelona for the conference I aready talked about. I attach hereafter the link featuring his speech.

Best regards from Barcelona
