Looking for a change of campsite - any suggestions?

Hey all! I’ve been lurking on these boards for a while now and have finally decided to join in as you’re the only people as obsessed with Glasto as me!!

So, I’ve been thinking about mixing it up on the campsite front this year and am interested in your views. I’ve read Tort’s guide at length and poured over aerial shots, but am interested in hearing from people who’ve actually experienced camping in different fields.

We’ve traditionally gone for Pennard’s (always come in to the west of the site), but last year went for a change and tried to get into Big Ground which was a Big Mistake as it was already full (10:00 Weds) and ended up having to camp in Lower Mead which was a bit poor (no atmosphere, awful toilets, lots of chavs) :fie:

So, where do you camp and why? What, in your experience, are the pros and cons of your chosen spots?

Cheers!!

Cheers! (And especially because I've just realised there are about a million of these type of threads!)

I'm pretty tempted by Dairy actually - close to the Other stage, close(ish) to SE corner etc, but not too far to lug stuff from the gates (I turned 30 this year and that first trek is definitely becoming more of a struggle!)

Great cheers Yoghurt :) Webb's is now on my consideration list!

How's Dairy for slopeage? Is there enough height to avoid waking up in a puddle? (But only if someone has a water fight over your tent as the result of searing heat of course)
