I've just been told I haven't got the job I applied for. 2 bloody interviews and a presentation and got pipped at the post. That's twice that's happend in the last month. It's good to to get to the last stage but after loads of tests and interviews it's frustrating

There is alot of call centre work around where I live. I did market research for a few weeks and after that I really was considering suicide as a lifestyle choice.

My daughter has got a summer job in a call centre, and i hope it doesn't grind her down :P

I've got an interview next week.....Eeeeeeek! First interview i've been to in about 6 years. I'm currently trying to plan a presentation I need to give but i'm so cold this morning I think my brain has frozen :P I know what I want to say but said frozen brain won't collate the information into an understandable format..........and the fact that I feel sick with nerves already probably isn't helping :P

If they have a number you can call phone it up. Ask them about the job, write down what they say and try and use all the words they used. Seriously works wonders. Also phoning them gives you a massive edge - makes you look efficient and keen! Oh and good luck!

i just hate how long the process is for some jobs these days. i applied for a job at the department of work and pensions a few years ago. i had to go in for a maths and english test. i passed that and the next stage was a telephone roleplay thingy. i passed that and then went to an interview. i didn't get the job. so after three f**king visits to the place, they didn't even give me any feedback as to why i didn't get the job.

after having spent the last hour getting my knickers in a knot about what I'm going to wear to my interview I can suddenly see the benefits of phone interviews.......I could be in my underwear and they'd never know :P

and i still haven't decided what im wearing :P
