Ok....I am giving Glasto a miss this year. Far too expensive and i cant face another year wet and muddy. So, we have decided on B.Days. It is 1/2hr drive up the road and just generally seems like a lovely festival.

How much were last years tickets? I have had a search but cant find what i need to know. I am intending to buy two so just wanna know how much to budget for.

Also, i will be on line 10th March, am i right in thinking i will get them no bother, ie not the huge fiasco that it is to get Glasto ones?

Cheers.

last years prices same as this year cos I believe they've even made a point of saying they've held the same price. http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/beautifuldays/2008/

B/days well worth doing but don't let the weather be a deciding matter which fest u do! It can (hopefully NOT this year) be just as bad one weekend in August as in June!

B/Days last year we packed up on the Sunday cos we'd had enough of the rain & mud!

Glasto last year i stuck it out until monday but i didn't have kids with me at Glasto but did have the kids @ B/Day.

I think BD is an excellent choice if you can't manage Glasto (or even if you can!) but you do realise that by missing the Big G because of last year's mud hell, you almost guarentee a dustbowl sunsoaked scorcher in your absence don't you? It's the Law of Sod!

    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival?
