So you're upset the jehovah won't have sex and upset the other one wants to?

I'm fine. I just thought I'd met someone I really liked and who really liked me. I was wrong. Oh well!

Heh you remind me of me a couple of years ago. I was seeing 5 different blokes and when talking about them to friends I'd refer to them 'being in the lead' or 'dropping down a place'. Good luck with the pair of them....if you're anything like me though, you'll end up wishing you could have a mixture of them both. And that aint ever going to happen unfortunately <_<

I didn't really want to remark about it being such an awful thing to do though, since it's also up to Slushes if she chooses to be that way. For me though it was something I thankfully grew out of. I'm personally ashamed I ever thought like that....and I also realise it's probably the reason I wasn't having much luck back then.

I'm not liking the other one that much (who was at the top of the list at one point) seeing as he is too obvious about wanting sex (ie talking to my boobs, arranging to have "some fun" after not knowing him more than a month and feeling he is about a third of the size of the Jehovah down below).

Sorry but it's the sort of thing that causes an uncontrollable pulsing in my temples, and an uncertainty whether to bellow or weep!:D

Oh course it's up to Slushes - but I can happily say I've never treated any women that way, I guess plenty of guys have though.

Funny though how often people say they want to be treated with respect... <_<

Can I just say, for the record, I wasn't sleeping with any of the guys. Just dating them and getting myself all confused in the process. They all knew I was a single girl and none of them thought they were my one and only (I certainly never led them to believe that anyway!).

Not so much a "real world" issue - I realise that your experience of life may have been a bitter streak of disappointment but fortunately most of the bad shit doesn't actually happen to me - it still hurts to think of it and hear about instances of it however. I have compassion, and empathy, more than most.

I'm glad. Look - I never suggest people can't do whatever the hell they like, but I'm entitled to my opinion. I'd be pissed off if I thought some woman I'd recently met was considering me along with 5 others - and that's just me, but I'm sure I'm not the only person to think that way. I hope not anyway, as that would suggest I was wrong......!!!

But it isn't about you, it's about Katster.

It would come as no surprise to me whatever a woman was like. If they behave in a manner I don't like then all that is within my power to do is to leave or stay. What they do is none of my concern. Dissapointment is part of the process of mating/coupling. Especially for them in my case.

If it was me, I'd only arrange to meet one of those people. Then if it wasn't going well, I'd try another of those people. I wouldn't try them all at once! Does that make any difference, you might ask - I don't know, but I'd feel I wasn't leading anyone up the garden path my way. I don't mean to sound so judgmental though, should have said nowt. The way you put it does sound extremely casual, innocent and uncomplicated in fairness.

    • Sun's out today. Can feel the hills calling. Time to ramp up the energy levels. I've been easing my way in gently the last 2 weeks with the likes of Hayley and Lael Neale and Cut Worms and Maria Somerville etc. Time to unleash some Shame, Mogwai, Place to Bury Strangers and especially Wednesday and Mannequin Pussy.  Also, just back from a brilliant night in Belfast at the Fleadh Ceoil so anything with a fiddle or a whistle or a squeeze box is drawing me like the Sirens. Madra Salach with the volume up. COME ON!!
    • My Orange car park ticket turned up today. The envelope looked like some kind of junk mail offering me a loan so I nearly didn't open it!
    • There is a bunch of TBC acts on Deftones day, according to APE insta. The obvious guesses are Fiddlehead, Nothing, Dynamite and Make Way, "Outbreak" artists playing the night before. The question is more about how are they are gonna fit in on three big stages.    is
    • SURELY Reel Big Fish will be here?
    • Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter is a very bland set of headliners. Commercially successful and makes plenty of sense, but it wouldn't be very inspirising. That said I want a band like Green Day to headline so who am I to say what exciting is.
