Well, my wish came true! There were two rather attractive men on the course last night, one who was older but not old and another who is younger who I kind of know from school. I was quite surprised to find I'd really not forgotten much from last time around :P

was alright. not too busy (although only to be expected) so was able to get a seat and to the bar easy enough.

just sat and watched the football and played drinking games. I was more than happy to embrace pints of diesel for a quid back in to my life :P plus ran into a hot girl i used to work with which is always good

left about 11ish to go to kushion which was f**kin rammed as always! but at least it was quid vodkas ;)

how was rev mr pogo?

God I'm getting sick of living with a couple. It's cringeworthy, the way he does what she wants, or if he doesn't then she goes all quiet and sulks like a 5 year-old. If I were him I'd be too embarrassed to live with someone else who would witness that.

And why oh why does she need the central heating on in the middle of September. What a shocking lack of common sense that girl possesses. Makes me so angry!

Had a few texts off Goblinz, I did ask if he wanted me to mention anything on here but he didn't respond to that part so I'll leave it up to him if he wants to tell folk. He seems ok generally anyway, just thought I should let people know that at least.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
