Oh, do pardon my ignorance. I hadn't realised that you'd worked it all out. I specifically like the part of your critique in which you came to the reasonable conclusion that it was in fact 98% accurate, rather than the 100% favoured by realistic but a tad over-zealous Marxists, which the up to date and politically committed neo-marxists have tidied up for everyone.

So, material dialectics. Care to explain that bad boy then?

You said that you are seperate to men because you are choosey. That's bollocks Katster. You don't identify with femininity or chooseyness because of your biology, you do it because of your socialisation. There is nothing feminine about your mind or your thinking. It is sexless, as are your thoughts.

You are choosey because you are Katster.

Aye I guess so. At work last night thinking about everything I'd said on here, I realised I didn't have a fecking clue what I was actually on about. Sorry fellow sexless's, I'd had a rough day yesterday

Now, since the world is about to end, who actually does want a shag?

We're all sick my friend. Infected with needs and wants and ridiculous ideas. We are the sickness itself. These poor animals we host have to go through such a hard time because of us. All they really want is a shag and a meal every so often.

    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
    • Law unto herself, Madge. But I think, for a certain generation, Hyde Park still has a touch of mystery and magic - that and Wembley Stadium.
