This guy really likes me, i've decided i don't feel that way about him and i need to finish it before it goes any further. whats the best way to dump him so as to give him no hope of reconcilliation?

The I'm gay line won't work as he knows about the girl who propositioned me last week that i turned down on the basis that i'm straight.

If you go with the meeting someone else line, he'll still live in hope if he likes you that much.

I'd go with the not feeling that way about him line - it's the truth innit?

My mum last night was suggesting I should try that online dating stuff....lots of people do it you know. I explained to her (yet again) that I'm quite happy on my own and I don't want to actively search for someone since I think it's all a bit tacky, cattle market like and just plain annoying most of the time.

If I meet someone I like then I'd give it a bash (ooer) but in the mean time I'm quite happy being on my own. There was a very sexy hoola hooping man at Bearded Theory....I'd definately have given him a bash had I not wandered off
