Yeah it was rubbish. Full of really old people who were soooo boring. They would only drink a couple of pints before bed time then go on to the hot cups of cocoa whilst turning in for the night at 10pm. Very unappealing festival indeed, I don't know what made me consider going in the first place!

Umnn, you haven't a clue!

Was an absolutely amazing festival. Lots of friendly (and some weird :) ) people. decent dance tent, deccent DJ's and bands, Very nice tea tent with the open mike section and dreadzone were absolutely kicking. You should come along next time, you might enjoy it.

I clearly said I was confused and a bit lost - so obviously I didn't have a clue about it...hence why I asked what it was all about?

Seriously I only asked what the deal with it was as the website was just plain odd. Didn't realising not knowing about it would irritate so many of you. And by old I just meant older than the average festival goer rather than OAPS.

She's right though. Why would young people want to go to this? The website isn't trendy, the arctic monkeys aren't playing, no one blew anything up or shat into a sunny delight bottle.

We nearly did.... There was a camping stove incident where the thing leaked and then completely set on fire. Then there was an incident with trying to put out an after BBQ firelog with beer.... For some reason the beer was very flamable.

I spent last night alone watching movies (Indiana Jones) too. But I had been in the pub during the day (not alone!) so I was quite merry!

What's all this Bearded Theory stuff? I have never heard of it. It sounds pretty strange.

Haha garlic bread is gone..time to arrange my wardrobe hangers. My works closing so I stole armfuls of hangers..least now it will all be coordinated

    • There's only one date that's not pretty much sold out 😂
    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
