Now, now folks - enough of this Derek and Clive anger. Lets all be friends. And shouldn't we really be concentrating on the bigger issue which is when are the forecasters going to start mentioning the High Azores coming to rescue?

I suggest we all act like impotent Christian Scientists and start praying hard.

This just in from the Met Office :-

UK Outlook for Wednesday 13 Jun 2007 to Friday 22 Jun 2007:

Rather unsettled with rain or showers interspersed with drier brighter interludes. Risk of some heavy and persistent rain at times, especially at first in the southeast of England, where it maybe thundery, and across central and southern parts of Scotland. The far north of Scotland will be cooler and may hold on to mainly dry conditions until later in the week, but the unsettled conditions across other areas will eventually push north to all parts. There is a possibility of the weather gradually becoming more settled from the southwest as we go through the second week. Probably still warm in the SE at first but temperatures are expected to fall back nearer to normal in most areas, with a cooler feel under cloud and rain.

Met Office - South West forecast

This is s**t. I have had it with the wet Glasto's. I will be, to a point really disappointed if it a wet/muddy affair. Three years running is just too f'kin much in my eyes. I was not confident last time, I had a feeling we were in for mud. This year I have had a positive feeling that it will be all good. Trouble is I can not resist looking into these stupid weather threads. Stupid country, with its rubbish weather. My mates at download and its sunny, 4 years running now. Where is the justice? The thing is with the forecasting is that to a degree they are right. They know we will get rain, they just do not know when. We at this moment are hoping that we are either side of the numerous amount of low pressure flying around. They do not see the big high pressure thats needed for it to be a scorcher. Its not about. Like I said I have a positive feeling ;) . Or I just do not want to think about the fact it may be wet

As to those who think that it being muddy adds to the fun are very much mistaken.

To everyone who said it would have been good last year: it was OK in 2004 until it spewed down on the last day, and that's actually what happened last year. Wed-Sat would have been gorgeous and Sun would have been muddy again.

But to reiterate: whatever. Enjoy it.
