We didn't do 1984 at school (thank god) I did read it for pleasure and I quite enjoyed it. We did far from the madding crowd at school. Not a novel I thought I'd like but I did quite enjoy it. In fact I got into trouble for reading too far ahead. English teachers are weird.

I've just finished reading 'Demons and Angels' (or was it Angels and Demons, meh) by Dan Brown. What a cracking read, even better than the Da Vinci Code in my opinion. I've got the other two books of his to read now, I'm hoping they will be as good!

What book are you currently reading? Jonathan Kellerman's Monster. It's not exactly got me gripped though.

Last book read? Minette Walters' Fox Evil.

Favourite author? I don't have a favourite author, rather a list of must read authors including Bill Bryson, John Grisham, Mike Ripley, Kathy Reichs and Kelley Armstrong.

Favourite book? The Sparrow & The Children of God by Mary Doria Russell. So few people have ever heard of these but they're amazing and well worth a read if you're stuck for something gritty to get your teeth into. I've read them three times and imagine I'll read them at least a few more...
