Haha! No worries. Valkenburg is a beaut town. Congrats on your first PP! Let’s hope the sun shines again. Was a scorcher last year.

After doing the luxury of Glampink last year, I’ve opted to now return to the rabble of the regular campsite ⛺️🍻 😅!

Sunshine would be a fab added bonus! We are Scottish so we need that vitamin D 😂.

I haven't camped since Rock am Ring years ago. My old body cannae hack it haha. But it is such a fun experience.

Absolutely can't wait for our first trip here. Been a long time coming! We're extending the trip and doing some stops on the way back to Amsterdam for our flight home. 

Thanks again for your help on where to stay during the festival. Beers, music, and hopefully some sun. Cannae beat it!

Yeah, I was not expecting too much when I saw it was just the smaller names to pad out the line up but two you have mentioned along with Buffalo Traffic Jam are great additions for me. Considering flying over to Amsterdam the day before to see GNR and then get an early train down on the Friday morning, just need to convince someone they fancy doing the same...

Wonder if any late additions will occur. Recall Tom Odell etc and they make a bit of a fun promotion around the addition. Just thought a fun conversational point, given the stacked number of artists in and around Europe for the June / July run 🙂

Just a heads up… the Monday AM in Valkenburg can be worth planning ahead for. It is a public holiday which can limit travel.
 

It’s worth flagging with the hotel (the day before) if you will require a taxi, or need to be anywhere for a flight or anything. A lot of the “festival specials” only run from the site, therefore Valkenburg doesn’t benefit.
 

Trains tend to be just 1 or 2 an hour (rather than the every 10-15min) from Valkenburg on the Monday. Taxis are also non-existent, (unless pre-booked a day ahead). We had to get a bus to Aachen. It’s not a problem, and plenty of options - but just thought I’d flag it, as it can be a bit of an unwelcome addition to the Monday hangover, if not prepared ahead haha!

Oh thank you for the heads up! We will be heading to Leiden on the Monday (hopefully 😂).  Thank you so much, I hadn't realised it was a holiday. I will get in touch with the hotel to try arrange a taxi. Thankfully no rush for flights etc, but very helpful information to know regarding holiday and transport options.

The hangover will be plenty enough haha.

A few clashes for me, but to be expected ha! Noticed a secret artist booked again, but they will clash with HotWax (who are brilliant)… hoping it’s someone I’m not bothered about haha. Last surprise was Tom Odell. So, it’s usually someone of a decent calibre.

Few small clashes for me also but really pleased.

I saw the secret artist. I too thought Scottish at first - then let my imagination run wild before calming myself down and realising it was probably not 😂. Interested to see who it is anyway.

Pencilled in my 'must see' acts and ready to go enjoy other random ones.

Not a Scottish secret act haha. This makes more sense. I may have to pop by to see them. I am intrigued.

 

Hoping the map is put on soon. Countdown really is on now and we can't wait! First ever Pinkpop. And a wee couple of stops in Netherlands afterwards. Off to Leiden the day after the festival and can't wait. 

Good music, beer, hopefully wee bit of sun, and beautiful places. Awesome!

Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
