With Lowlands announcing today I think that's ruled out an announcement this week. I don't think we'll be far away from one though, should be easy enough to start piecing together the missing names when you look at who is around and already taken up by Best Kept Secret and Down The Rabbit Hole.

Halsey and Electric Callboy getting added today, should know the full announcement shortly

I think with Halsey being added too, that makes it one of, if not the strongest top lines for an all round kinda festival in Europe this year. TOP, Foos, The Cure, Yungblud, Halsey, Electric Callboy...not for me but still. Only festival in europe to get all those names too.

That's a solid starting trio next to what they've already got. Hoping for more of the same.

Yeah me too, I'm very grateful that they're all announcing around the same time so I can make a decision this week and get sorted. After winning the Springsteen raffle at the weekend I can only afford one jaunt away this Summer now (and even then that may be stretch) so I want to get booked up this week, looking like this or Werchter favourites now that Way Out West sold out.

Just seen Balu Brigada (and Natasha Beddingfield too).  Some really good names plus plenty of fun in there too.

Thinking it’ll be the rest of the lineup tomoz for Werchter?

Yeah this is becoming a very solid line up for my tastes.

Yeah, at this stage I think they'll pad everything out. Might be a case of needing to fill in a cancellation or two down the line but I think it'll be full house from tomorrow.

Still decent after the day splits, could have maybe done with a bigger name I enjoyed on the Friday but could still have a good time with Zara Larsson and 21Pilots.

Roll on Werchter tomorrow, Roskilde and Down the Rabbit Hole too and I'll make a decision from there...

The Cure with Soulwax, The Haunted Youth, and Jehnny Beth as support is a great festival day.

Just gotta avoid crap like Susan & Freek and Halsey!

Suzan & Freek are really an odd one on that day. Nothing even slightly similar that day, feels very random. For those who don't know them, I'd recommend to keep it like that. I'm sure it's a lovely couple and it's sad Freek has terrible health issues, but that doesnt make their music less dull. Apart from that, for Pinkpop standards the line up is pretty decent, although it always looks worse once the time schedule arrives as there are simply too little acts per day and no/hardly alternatives during headliners.

Can always chill in the Pinkpop Tuinterras during lame sets!

We are looking at finally getting to Pinkpop this year. We're hoping to stay in a hotel and travel through and back each day.

For all of you who have been before, is staying in Maastricht or Aachen an option in regards to being able to get back to a hotel after the festival?

Cheers!

I would check the train schedule to ensure you can still travel back to those cities after midnight.

It is doable, but personally - I think Valkenburg or Heerlan is best. The shuttle trains are quick and easy. I stopped in Valkenburg once. Aachen is doable, but it’ll just make for a longer day.

I think earlier in the thread, I commented more at length on this subject, if it’s of use.

I’d agree tbh. I think it’s a solid instalment of Pinkpop. Great representation across genres and decent value for money in today’s market.

On a side note… does anyone know what the deal is with spirits and mixers at Pinkpop? Always seems so difficult to locate a whisky and coke or something similar! Am I missing something? 😆🤣

A lot of those euro festivals unfortunately are very cocktail, wine and beer based.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
