Anyone else doing the double? IoW and Glastonbury?

As I wake in my tent, having done day 1 of IoW, I begin to wonder if doing the double of Isle of White and Glastonbury was too much....

We were seriously considering it and decided to sack it off - mostly on the hope Pulp would do glasto and getting chems tickets for London!

Used to do Glasto - Rock Werchter a fair bit.

I'd only have G as the first festival of the 2, need your legs for it

That's absolutely brutal. 

I love camping and festivals, but that feeling of home/shower/your own bed for a few days after is divine.

Glastonbury ruined IOW for me. 

 

It's just so much better I didn't enjoy it.

I had decided against glastonbury after the sales were horrendous on the thursday so bought IoW.... then my "friend" added me to her group at the last minute.... obviously you can't look a ticket god in the mouth.....

The heat is brutal!

Seeing Fleetwood Mac at IoW was one of my all time favourite festival moments. But probably wouldn't go these days, especially in proximity to Glasto. I take my hat off to you! I hope you have an awesome time, make sure there's lots of sitting down.
