Campervan arrival Friday

Hi Everyone,

Not long to go now, hope everyones getting excited! Just wondering if anyone can advise, this will be our first time taking the campervan and due to childcare we're not going to be able to arrive until Friday morning. Does anyone know if we will still be able to enter general East that late? And will we likely be miles away from Gate c?

if you have a parking ticket for General East then you'll have no problem (weather permitting) 

regarding location to the gate: Yes unfortunately you'll be in the furthest fields from the gate.

I'd recommend taking what you need for the day in one trip, using the lockups to store anything you need for the evening and staying on site until you're done with the day.

Great thanks, my main worry was they'd turn us away if arriving too late so that's good to know! We'll def only go in/out once to save the trek!

I dont think you will necessarily be too far away..

E14 is the last field to be filled in General and if you are in the western part of the field, it is an easy cut through to E24/25 and so not too far from the HoD.. and if that is the case, the double bonus is that you will be nearest the exit come Monday morning 👍

Given that you are getting in so late, you could even try telling the stewards that you have friends in E24 and they said there is still space there.... do they have any objection to you going in there?? (and there will likely be space in there)

per @drunk pumpkintry to take out what you need for the whole day, you dont want to be thinking you can 'pop back' to the van for a bit..

Lock up just inside ped gate c is fab to off load your evening stuff until you need it. Much nicer than walking all the way back
