  1. I was wondering why they were not a sub-headliner. I just assumed they would be at least as popular in their home country as in the Netherlands. It's probably the other way around with Liam and Stormzy tho.
  2. Ramkot is amazing, also really like Dead Poet Society. And will be checking out the rest soon. Cut_ is great as well (went to a concert before their newer music) always loved their song Electrify, reminded me a bit of Lorde. Their song Breathe has been in one of my playlists since it came out as well.
  3. Qdance one is quite good I think, my brother is really excited about it. With Joost on the first day and Goldband and Qdance on the second is an amazing start of the festival and on day three I don't really have anything I want to see, but I don't mind a day to relax . For the rest of the days I just hope editors does not overlap with Janelle and I will be a happy man. Bit sad about jungle not coming, but I hope another act is able to surprise me.
  4. With Martin Garrix as the special guest I guess
  5. As told befote by someone else, if it's No Doubt, they probably have some sort of contract to be exclusive to coachella, so sziget has to wait to the end of April. If it is Twenty One Pilots it might be after their tour goes on sale, so the 5th of April. Other band might have similar explanations, but now I can't think of more.
  6. Twenty one pilots would make perfect sense, they just released a new song today and they are teasing that a tour announcement will come soon. Edit: seems like they already announced the tour just now
  7. I hope they are not the headliner as well, but at this point I don't know if any artist is left who I would be happy with
  8. Tori Kelly fits the last one. If that's the case these letters remain: Nitncan
  9. Neil Frances confirmed. Went through the last few days, but it seems like no one has posted this yet.
  10. I couldn't really think about any other female headliners, so I asked chatgpt to create a top 20 female artists based on popularity in Europe and I added my own findings to it. 1. Adele, too big 2. Dua Lipa, does some big festivals, but all around early July and played in 2022 3. Billie Eilish, played last year + not on tour 4. Rihanna, not touring. 5. Taylor Swift, too big 6. Beyoncé, too big 7. Ariana Grande, not touring 8. Lady Gaga, not touring 9. Katy Perry, only 1 festival in Rio a month after Sziget 10. Shakira, not on tour but her album releases soon and she hinted at a tour to go with it. 11. Sia, not on tour 12. Lana Del Rey, As Leaks confirmed talks have broken down. 13. Lorde, played last year 14. Halsey, not on tour 15. Florence + The Machine, played last year 16. Ellie Goulding, 1 concert in april. 17. Jessie J, only has shows in the uk 18. Camila Cabello, 2 festivals in june 19. Zara Larsson, Is playing some festivals 20. Anne-Marie, played in 2022 I think from 14 down I would consider them too small for a headliner and three are just too big for festivals, Lana is out obviously and I think Billie and Lorde are out as well for playing last year. So there are only 7 options of AA+ quality in my opinion.
  11. I personally really hope for Elderbrook, just looked at his tourdates and he is playing at a festival in Slovakia on the 10th of August, so it just might be possible.
  12. What I think is that the line-up choices this year seems to be geared towards certain countries instead of acts that are for everyone. For example in the Netherlands you never hear any Stormzy or Liam Gallagher and Fred again is only just getting more known here and only Fred would be maybe a headliner here (this year on lowlands, but last year he would not be a headliner). Sam Smith is well known here and on the radio quite a bit and is playing Pinkpop this year but not as the headliner. So as a Dutch guy this does not really meet my expectations as headliners, but I guess they all are massive in England. However you also have Martin Garrix as a headliner, over who I saw a lot of disappointed comments about, but is absolutely massive in the Netherlands. And also Goldband and Joost, they both played a lot of mainstages in the Netherlands and Goldband is even a headliner at lowlands this year. So while these names seem unsignificant to others like for example Liam Gallagher or Stormzy seem to us, Goldband and Joost are headliner and strong undercard material. A lot of other acts seem to be the same (a lot of streams, but they are not really known here) like Big thief, Raye and L'imperatrice. Just a thought I wanted to share and hope we get some great new names soon.
