Luggage on Coaches

Hi

 

First time using a coach. Does anyone know how strict they are about amount of items taking. My tent is large and heavy.

Will be taking tent sleeping bag etc on a trolley, backpack also

Dear Mr Incognito! 🙂  You have travelled by the National Express coaches before?

My wife and I have been to EotR several times before, but this would be the first time to travel by coach (from Victoria)...

To 'fess up: we're struggling to pack in such a way that gets down to the amount the National Express website says one can take (like, nowhere near)... we also just spotted that our tickets don't seem to have reserved seats...

Any chance you could please shed any light on how the NX direct coaches run? We're contemplating driving instead now

Hi 🙂 I have travelled from Victoria coach station with national express 3 times now! Never had an issue with a luggage - we’ve had two large rucksacks, a tent, two sleeping bags and two large shopper bags with food drinks etc! When you book, I believe you book onto a specific service ? I’ve always got a seat even if it meant me in one seat and my partner a couple of seats away. Hope this helps - have a great festival!
