Dazmandingo96
With there potential of train strikes happening soon, how likely do we think these are to happen? My mrs is on a 1pm coach from Leicester and has to commute there from Liverpool. Only pheasible way to the coach in time is by train. Shall I book her tickets ? Lucy92
If it’s the only feasible way then you’ve got nothing to loose by booking the tickets. They’ll have much bigger issues on their hands if the strikes are over Glastonbury week!
Glast0baby
Given the general left wing leanings of Glasto, it'd be interesting to see how a strike which disrupts Glasto would go down. If I were the TU I would avoid annoying their potential supporters.

The aim of a strike is to cause maximum disruption so the bosses sit up and take notice.

If there is no alternative which eliminates the risk then all you can do is go ahead with your travel plan. At this stage no strike dates have been decided and be aware that the union has to give 7 days notice of a strike. So potentially industrial action could begin from early June onwards.
