I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
I have no belief in "don't speak ill of the dead" if the dead in question spent their life being evil.
I don't believe in saying something you wouldn't have said when they're alive though.
