local but not local sunday ticket

Ive heard of a friend of a friend that has a local sunday ticket but doesnt live within the local boundaries ... what are the chances of his ticket being cancelled ? ... I do know this has happened in the past but what checks can be carried out ? anyone have any experience of this happening ? by the way im in no way condoning this !!

It is not impossible for a non local to legitimately have a locals ticket, I know some very local people who get free tickets can give them away. A work colleague of my wife went this way a few years ago, her friends father is very very local and gets free tickets every year, he gave her a ticket, I know it all had to be ok’d by the festival and had her name on the ticket.

obviously this is very different to someone non local  acquiring a locals ticket by potentially non legitimate means.

i believe the only way he'd have a sunday ticket is by registering at someone else's address with a duplicate registration ... I wish I hadn't found out though as I almost hope they catch him somehow
