A little poll to get a feel for where efestivaler's 'heads are at'

I reckon they could put in place a system where you don’t select a departure point you get allocated one. So once you have imputed your reg number and postcode it then selects the closest possible departure point to the lead booker’s postcode. Read loads of heads there that are trying from here there and everywhere that it just seems unfair on the people who trying for solely that one location.

This doesn't work if you live overseas though and want to get a coach.

For example, my post code is Belfast, but I want to try for the Bristol coach.

There’s National Express coaches to take you to the festival as well though. People abuse the system just to get a ticket.

Yea, but these don't come with a ticket.

I get that some people abuse the system but I'm saying your solution doesn't work because of many people like me.

Abuse the system? That's very subjective.

I live and am registered in Nottingham, but I'll be trying for a Bristol coach tonight. If I don't get a ticket tonight, I'll still be getting a National Express coach from Bristol come June because that's the way that works best for my situation/travel plans.

That's not abusing the system, it's just taking the appropriate option.

There’s a general sale of about 120,000 tickets that are going on sale on Sunday.

It isn’t subjective when you’re reading stories of people living in Kent travelling to Glasgow just to get a ticket. That’s abusing the system.

And I understand that there are going to be people like yourself who want to travel from different departure points but if that’s the case and you have friends who live in Bristol then use them as your lead booker, if not then you’d just have to try in the general sale. You can’t have people travelling to different parts of the country just to get on to a coach to get a ticket, the main reason of the coach is to keep it as environmentally as possible in regards to travel and there are plenty of incidents that I’ve read that completely go against that.
