LongTimeLurker
Hello. I've never driven to Glastonbury before. Can you choose which carpark you're going to be in? Either by choosing when you book your car parking ticket? Or do you just work out how to drive to car park D, for example, if that's the one you know you want to be in? Sorry for such an obvious question!
Crazyfool01
unfortunately you cant you will get randomly allocated a car park depending on what field they are filling when you arrive although they fill the nearer fields to the gates earlier but that means a longer wait to get out ... you only thing you can really decide is the direction you arrive at the site
sedra
There are East and West car parks. Gate B and C ( hill of death) are accessed from East and this is also where the main lot of camper van fields are - you can choose east or west camper van parking but not general parking. You head for blue or purple route for East car parks and pink/orange route for West for gates A and D. It’s all signposted and on the map. Worthy View has separate parking. You get directed to whatever car parks they fill up first once you pick a route- so you could be near gates or have a very long walk! You can choose the car park gate you drive in to on the west side - tho it does mean not necessarily following directions of the parking stewards. Crazyfool01
I was speaking from my experience and personally I have followed the parking stewards directions ... if we didn't it would cause chaos and possibly safety issues

Local traffic goes straight on, and I was doing nothing different.
