One Love Festival is moving to Glastonbury for 2018

After 10 years of great events in the Home Counties we are really excited to be taking the Festival to the UK’s spiritual home, to a mystical land engulfed in folk law, myths and legends. A place where the biggest and best Festival on Earth started “The Glastonbury Festival” 

A statement from the team at One Love confirms something that will be truelly amazing, as One Love settles on this beautiful site for 2018! 

"We have always thought Reggae is so under represented at Glastonbury so we have literallry taken Reggae to Glastonbury - With Glastonbury taking a year off in 2018 we thought the area needed some blessed up reggae vibes where we will introduce Reggae and Reggae Culture to a much larger audience"

This years wonderful presentation includes x 4 Nights Camping, a Rasta Village, increased toilet and pamper facilities, increased children’s and circus activities, more Healers in our dedicated Field of Love, a more relaxed laid back vibe even more spread out arenas a Stone Circle and with more emphasis on Nature and Peace.

"We are going back to the root of all festivals; a camping weekend festival dedicated to a better world" – artist announcements will be made periodically

They've made it sound like they're at the Glastonbury site but after looking into it, it's on a site 11 miles away.

yep,. Bruton is not Glastonbury.

As you say Bruton is not Glastonbury.  Either a dodgy or clever press release depending on your thinking.

Actual location: Gilcombe Farm, Bruton (Nr Glastonbury), Somerset, BA10 0QE

Same location as the Field Trip festival was this year.

tho Pilton is about half the distance away from Glastonbury as Bruton.

One Love is seemingly trying to use and abuse the Glastonbury Festival name. I think it's a bit naughty, and I don't think helps One Love either.

Thought I would reply - 

Just to make clear we are not saying we are appearing at Glastonbury Festival,  as you might be aware its not actually on this year  

Glastonbury town is international known as a tourist location regardless if the Festival is on or not and attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every a year - We are trying to attract a international audience

Glastonbury Festival is actually held in Pilton - they call it Glastonbury Festival because people don't know where Pilton is - our Festival is at Bruton is more or less equidistant from Glastonbury Town and we are using the connection for the same reason - there are several Bruton's in UK and there is only one Glastonbury
