walking boots for men

I've got dogs and have daily walks in the country. Footwear is a big consideration - I find that poor quality walking boots can often let in water when walking through wet grass. Through the winter I just wear wellies when out with the dogs - my current ones are by Bogs, they cost about £80 and are very comfortable, not like cheapo wellies at all. If it's going to be a muddy one this year I'd definitely wear these over walking boots.

Gonna dig this thread up to save making a new one, I'm thinking about getting these for Glasto after I lost my normal pair moving house, what do the experts think?

I normally just go for walking shoes at a festival but thought maybe I'll go for boots this year, but do you think I should just stick to shoes?
