Aye, could've been a lot worse but I'm hardly Mr Optimistic. Will do a lot more sitting anyway...

Kinda worried about work though, tomorrow and Thursday were gonna be my days off anyway and I think I'll probably call in sick for Friday-Sunday at this rate, just concerned that they'll think I'm taking the piss if I'm not well enough to go to work for three days but I'm well enough to hobble around a festival for five... I'm not a piss taker, I avoid sickies as well as I can but its not a good look...

Hopefully work know that you don't normally take the piss? I'd guess they know how much you're looking forward to Glastonbury? I know my lot do, they are all sick of it.

Depending on what work you do are lighter duties possible? Or just explain you need to rest to get well enough to go and enjoy it.

I hope you get better and have a fantastic festival.

Everyone I've ever met knows I'm going to Glastonbury. It's not a strenuous job, I probably could work but I won't be 100% by a mile..

cheers, been over 50 hours since it happened and a lot better, think I'll be fine for next week not so sure about this week

When you can't sleep due to certain substances, and you're just laying in your tent resting for a couple of hours, do you feel all horrible and depressed? I always do, and it can be hard not to feel bleak in my freezing cold tent wondering why the hell I put my body through such hell! Always forget about it by the morning though :) Just after some tips if you've found ways to avoid "the fear".

I've got the fear already thinking about how to sneak stuff in!

Now im thinking about the actual 'fear' and it's giving me the fear  forgot about that lol.

Tbf getting stuff into Glastonbury is quite easy, previous years I've just walked in with in in my pocket. I wouldn't advise that though.
