Morning all. 

Does anyone know if the 'verified by visa' system, or similar, is used by Seetickets in the sales? Just hoping to avoid getting through for friends and wasting time getting hold of them for info.

No they don't use it, just need card details.

I can't remember being asked for this when getting tickets, as it does add time and think I would remember this.

definitely not, not even when you pay your balance which is much less time critical than the October and April sales.

I wouldn't know for sure but, as they don't do this, there is always the chance that they could accept your booking even if you have provided incorrect card details. In this case you probably wouldnt get your tickets as see won't be able to take the money. I have no idea what would actually happen in this scenario.

I've put incorrect card details in and the system's highlighted it and refused to proceed.  There's no need to verify the card as you're not actually getting anything of value (ie your ticket) for weeks, so there's plenty of time for invalid purchases to be cancelled
