Theres approx 75 band on it, with 5  main stages these days (pyramid, other, wh, park, jp) and usually 8 acts a day on the pyramid and 9-10 on the other stages. Assuming there are none of the other stages we still have nearly as many names again to fill the main stages alone....so loads of good acts to be announced then all the great acts on the lower stages too

Exciting times

Several of those on the list are playing The Glade so even more main stage acts to come.

All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone is a good entry point for EITS. It's slightly more 'generic', high-quality post-rock. Not that it isn't good. their magnum opus is usually considered to be The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place, the album that cemented them as one of the Godfathers of what is commonly thought of as 'classic' post-rock. I also love Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die, Those... , but it's a bit less 'immediate'.

However...the new LP The Wilderness - currently on my turntable as I type! - is rapidly becoming one of my very favourites. I am as excited about EITS playing as I am about Sigur Rós, with whom I have had a very passionate affair for many years, though not has cooled very slightly with the last record (Kveikur), though that is growing on me too. I will, almost without question, be in tears at various points of both bands' sets.

Floating Points - very skeptical to begin with, seemed a bit too plinky plonky for me but I gave the whole album a chance and ended up enjoying it a lot.

UMO, Multi-Love - not what I expected at all, quite enjoying it though, can imagine it'll sound good live.

Elaenia was my Album of the Year for 2015!

Try the whole of the 3-part Silhouettes suite again (from the LP Elaenia_, easy. Sam's 'Live' stuff is very different to his producer/DJ stuff, which is more 'typically' dance-electronica.

The LP is much, much more jazz-inflected and flippin' ace. His being on the poster means to me that he will be playing with the full band - so the stuff from Elaenia and, I very much hope, a DJ set or two, too. Oooooh, FloPo DJ at Arcadia...Nice!

The two are not mutually exclusive, my friend. When they took to the stage headlining End of the Road I was on the floor at the start, still a little, ahem, tired and emotional!

This is the correct response, Swedge. Boy's a genius and that Album is amazing. As I said to easty, it's important to distinguish the new record from his more typically dance stuff (also good, but not what the live band do...)

But how safe is it to lie down in the middle of the crowd at night up at the park? (where is assume they will play)

Up the back of the bank? Should be fine! There'll be massive. knowing head-nodding and no moshing! Only issue will be the sound block from the crammed masses in front of you. And yes, The Park it has to be. In any case, just come down the front with me!

Never had the throwing up problem - not even when I have wanted to........ my body just will not do it!

I quickly looked at your profile to see how old you were but like me it is not on there........ I shall be 51 in a couple of months.

I am 37 Matt. The problem I have is my digestive system. I have pretty severe colitis. My guts just can't handle it anymore and a festival is a sure bet to set me off. 

I have found that making myself sick before I go bed alleviates a lot of issues the following day.

Believe me though, I pay the price after returning home and can be ill for a long time after.

Nasty - thankfully I do not have Colitis. That is one thing they have ruled out........ but what is up with my digestive system is a mystery, seeing two consultants and nobody seems to know! I just feel shit the next day if I over do it!
