West Holts - Volume

Yeah - Steel Pulse sounded pretty sweet to my ears. Couldn't be bothered getting up in amongst it for them, but they were smashing it by the sounds of it.

Think I've mentioned this elsewhere already but at one point we were out by William's Green and we could still here WH as clear as a bell.

Steel Pulse were perfect for a sunny, sunday afternoon. Soothing and uplifting at the sametime, great harmonies and tight band.

and with something real to say, too.

I was in heaven that they gave us a full version of 'Klu Klux Klan', as mostly when I've seen them they've only played a snippet of it in a bit of a medley of stuff from that era - and this time we got loads. :)

I saw they were selling Handworth Revolution on vinyl at the signing stall afterwards, and I reckon they must have shifted a few copies.

Its fairly isolated so not much chance of sound bleeding. Turn it up!

How were they? Missed em

I thought they were great but didn't play Prodigal Son for some reason?

don't complain, it was a set with different songs for a change.

I love the sets I've seen before, but it was great to get a few songs they don't normally play.

(mind you, getting the whole of Handsworth Revolution a few months back was even better :D).

I've been told I broke bands t-shirt law on Sunday. I DON'T CARE. :P
