When does Blue Route open?

Can anyone answer this ?

 

A friend is travelling to Glastonbury in her camper van and will arrive on the Tuesday afternoon.  

But, before that she wants to do a trial run.

 

When does the route into Blue Route become accessible for festival traffic only?  There's no point in her trying this if the road is not open to her on her trial run before the Tuesday?

The blue route into the East Campervan fields is actually just down a bunch of public roads after turning off the A37. they are open all the time and she would probably be able to drive all the way up to the outer campervan field fence right up to the monday before. 

 

But really I would question the value to doing this. Plus it may be a bugger to turn the van round if you go all the way up.

 

Best bet would be google maps street view. Look for Pylle lane and Pylle road

I can't see the value either. As long as you can get reasonably near to the festival via main roads, there will be sign posts that take you all the way there anyway. There shouldn't be too much traffic on the time you are going there anyway, so just stick it into Google maps and let that work it out for you.

She just needs to get as far as that A37 turn off. Once she can get there the rest is gravy.
