LAST MINUTE TICKET BUYING TIPS - RESALE

Ah ok well this year when I went to pay it didn't let me pay via 3G as soon as I changed to wifi the transaction went through, no worries it's all good ✌️

Some mobile providers e.g. EE, sometimes have issues with banking details which is probably why it didn't go through for you. Probably safest to do as you said and change from 3G to WiFi on reg page; you can never be too careful!

If you get the queue, don't wait the 20 seconds for it to refresh. Refresh manually as this is just the same as waiting for the 20 seconds.

In the coach resale manually refreshing the page was pretty much instant, although it kept showing the queue. If you had multiple browsers and pages, you would end up refreshing less than just hitting refresh on the single page. Having lots of devices can actually slow you down and limit your chances as you are taking time to switch to each of them to refresh. I had loads of browsers, windows, and devices in the main sale, but never got close. In the coach resale I had one browser and got through three times. Good luck to you all though.

Yes, good advice. I'd have thought it was also obvious, but I know of at least one other person who pressed refresh at 9am and that was the only time she pressed it. She literally just sat there waiting for the twenty second countdowns to expire, so she was automatically refreshing at the rate of three times a minute. What you need to be doing is refreshing one window on one browser manually every 1.5 seconds for as long as it takes. It's easy to do - just keep focussed on the '20 seconds' text of the page and as soon as you see that re-set to 20, you know you're back in the queue and you should press F5 again instantly.

It's actually quite a test of stamina and concentration. You'll hear voices in your head both distracting you and telling you it's not working and you're not going to get a ticket. Ignore both - shut them out and just keep refreshing, making sure you're fully alert and don't drift off into auto-pilot because the split second you see that booking page you need to stop and go into phase two - copying and pasting everything as quickly as possible.

Do not check Twitter while tickets are still available! You'll know when it's sold out soon enough.

Do not check eFestivals while tickets are still available!

Keep going, stay focussed, remain positive.

And good luck.

Ha! You guys are kind. I only did the same as everyone else, I just got lucky for you both. There are a few simple things you can do to make sure you're going as fast as possible, but after that it's simply luck of the draw. I didn't manage to get through in the coach re-sale and I didn't even get through for myself - another lovely eFester secured me a ticket in October, so it's pot luck really. I'm trying for one or two others in a few hours though, so I'm hoping I'll be lucky once more.
