EL Light Costumes

I am thinking of making some fancy dress to wear at the festival and am thinking of using EL wire. I was wondering if anyone has got any experience of this and how bright it will be.

Also seen you can now get EL tape but again not sure how bright this would be.

Any thoughts on this would be great, thanks.

Great thanks I did wonder how long batteries last, it's my first time using EL and my first time at Glasto so wanted to make something different.

    • Been a pretty rainy June where I live (no where near the festival). What’s the weather been like in Pilton recently?   How’s the ground doing?
    • Couple of degrees warmer please.
    • With this being a fallow year do we know if the Beeb is going to show any past years highlights or make sets available on Iplayer to give us some glasto content as we await a return to the fields?

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
