Reading royally ripping us off again!

On a side note do you ever think we'll see the standardisation of festival prices, they're getting beyond belief now...

To think once upon a time you could walk into Glastonbury for free and see David Bowie perform

Quote me if I'm wrong but I'm sure they have always been small.

It would be nice if the prices for the festival remained frozen for say, 5 years.

Hate to break it to you but the weather is gonna be pure shite from Monday to at least Thursday, which means we are gonna have some joys setting up tents on Wednesday, although my phone does tell me that the rain is due to stop at 8 on Wednesday... still gonna have to set up the tent as soon as you get there though.

Pop-ups set up first then we all don the waterproofs and help others set up the more fiddly ones?

Hey guys, myself and a buddy are coming to reading on the Thursday, I know this is camp loner but we don't know anyone there, and we've always gone to festivals in a big group, it's gonna feel a bit weird not being with a big group, are you guys cool with us camping up and chilling with you? Sounds like a right laugh, We've only got 1 tent. I'm a raging metalhead and I'm there to see limp, baroness, atreyu, GOJIRA!!, ghost, beartooth, while she sleeps blah blah and my buddies a huge grime fan (funny mix I know) less than a week now AHHH so excited

Hi everyone, it's safe to say this thread has brought relief. First time going to Reading and all of my friends have officially bailed on me (possibly because I'm ginger, who knows?). I'm 18 and from West Sussex and was hoping you could all adopt me? (I'm also now worrying about these tube strikes- who knew festivals could be this stressful).

In regards to your first question you will probably be okay for space, for your second question there is a white and red flag that I am bringing.

We're gonna have one hell of a good time setting up a campfire, we've got around 30 people now give or take. I suggest having a huge game of King's Cup (whoever doesn't know about it it's a very simple but amazing drinking game) as soon as we're all settled in. Can anyone bring a deck of cards along? If not I'll try and buy a deck at some point
