Depends if I can get hold of that EE ticket - should find out soon! Where in London are you based? If I drive I'll probably take the 406 (in early morning during a tube strike central will be hell!).

I'm hoping they call the train strikes off though. If there's strikes on bank holiday Monday, traffic will be absolute hell, and if it's raining during the weekend, there's every chance my car will get stuck in the mud (it's no range rover lol).

I'm on the south east line but I can get pretty much anywhere with my travel card if you need me to meet you somewhere else. When you say EE I'm guessing you mean early bird ticket?

Yep, hopefully find out tomorrow. If i'm driving i'll probably get one anyway even if he doesn't come up trumps, traffic on thursday will be hell.

If you're on that line I should be able to take the M25 south, which I guess would be easier?

Don't want to miss out on Friday shenanigans so probs gonna drive down Thursday after work,  should get there for about 9:30

Just enough time to pitch up and have a few beers :)

Coming from Newcastle in an mx5 so not much room, but if someone needs a lift and is traveling light you're welcome to jump in

Do we have a headcount by any chance, be interesting to know exactly how many people we have collectively brought together

Here we go:

Upon looking back through the thread I have noted down 25 people that are camping.

Interesting to note from my first post on this thread there was over 3,000 views, now there is over 16,000.

The weather will be fine, as long as I can get my car out of the car park on Monday morning!

The arena disco was new last year. I've never been to the one in the arena but my mate who did said the campsite ones are better.

There is going to be a mega silent disco in the Alternative Stage on Friday until 2.30am according to the website and the supermarket is now located in brown camp.

The disco sounds like its gonna be something special

    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
    • Loads of people have to listen to music they don't like all day, while at work!   Not much different.
    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
