Anyone got any help/info on what's the best way to get a toddler around the festival? Been looking at both the following options but unsure of which is the best?

We used option 2 for a few festivals - we just brought a piece of memory foam off ebay to cushion the inside. Our little one loved it, went through the mud fine, packs down fairly flat etc. We got one of amazon for about £40.

We then got one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Children-Bicycle-Trailer-Stroller-Combo-Red/dp/B006JS46IE/ref=sr_1_8?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1427100091&sr=1-8&keywords=bike+trailer

which we still use now and is great.

I took my 21 month old girl last year and would definitely say the bike trailer (make sure it's a jogger so you can push it!). When it gets muddy it's the only thing that will get through it. She and her cousin could sit in it together and were cosy.

I will be selling mine on ebay in May (I am in Coventry) ready for the festival season as it was a one off trip for the little one until she's a bit older .

Were in Brum so could well be interested in buying it from you, as long as its in decent nick and for the right price ;)

It's covered in Glasto mud so needs a good clean! That's why I'm waiting until May so I can get it out in the garden and give it time to dry! All good except one brake pad broke off when I squeezed a wheel back on. Brakes still work when you squeeze the handle though.

Do they work if you don't, ie when your stationary and went to let go of the pram but don't want it to roll anywhere?

MrHew, the pram we have at the moment pisses me off in Asda so its not an option for Glasto

  • 1 year later...

Bumping in the hope of some advice on makes of Bicycle trailers.  I have a 2 and 4 year old.  Last year it was a sling and a jane buggy to get them around, but this year they've got too heavy to carry for miles.

Any recommendations on trailers for children please.

We used one like this (not for Glastonbury but another festival) and was excellent.  Decorated it with fairy lights etc. so visible

    • 1. Baby Dave - Billy 2. A - Prang   Not really got round to listening to many more in May so not really fair to vote but shoutout to EPs from Bleech 9:3 - Bleech 9:3 & Villanelle - Measly Means
    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
