I've recently been getting into a bit if Dub but am not very clued up on artists and the like. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of much over the weekend. Oh and anyone I should check out away from the Fest. Cheers in advance.

Friction who is performing at Arcadia let's of some dub tunes. Here's one of his own tunes it isn't dub but it's not far off.

Mate that couldnt be far enough away from Dub... friction will play 100% Drum & bass.

I can only give you a few names that I know: Laid Blak, Gentlemans Dub Club, Dubkasm and Mungos Hi Fi.

oh and Sunday afternoon on Aracadia with Zion Train, Soul II and Jinx in Dub. Some of this might be crossing into Reggae or whatever, not a master of all the different subgenres!

it doesn't get any better than Mr Dubmaster himself, Dennis Bovell (playing somewhere in the naughty corner - tho presumably only DJing ).

But that's for the old skoolers. Kids today don't know what dub is.
