Biffy Clyro

They still have some good moments but are generally getting blander and blander with each album. Next album will probably see the few old regulars on the setlist getting canned in favour of bloody Many of Horror and Biblical.

Love Biffy Clyro and as i have said before I think they will headline next year.

Secret set on the park, then 3rd on the pyramid and since then there popularity has risen.

And when people say Glasto wouldnt have them headline due to their music type!!! Ur kidding right? U have seen who is headlining this year.

but they quite clearly thought 'let's write some hit singles for the masses' - there was nothing 'fresh' about it. they went from being an experimental and quite weird band to a straight up stadium-aping band sounding like everything else around them. i remember i played Puzzle in a car ride with my mum once and she thought it was the new Foo Fighters album. says it all, really

I get what your saying floorfiller. However, I think it comes as a consequence of getting more popular e.g. pressure from label to bring out the new album quicker. They are past their days of vertigo of blis, blackened sky etc but there are still a few gems off their newer albums. I don't know if they should headline glasto but as I said they would make an awesome acoustic set.

Saw them at Isle of Wight fest in 2012 and they were good - as they were at Glasto in 2011 in the afternoon on the Friday. Would have liked them at Glasto this year, maybe Other Stage, but never mind.

Infinity Land and Puzzle are my favourite albums - both carry more emotional punch, because of the death of Simon's mum at the time.

Personally I've always found Blackened Sky to be a bit generic (still enjoyable), but could never warm to Vertigo. Revolutions is solid, but agree that Opposites should have been a single disc.

They're always great live, and their Reading performance showed they could pull off Glasto, performance wise.

(for the thousandth time) i don't reckon Glastonbury would go for them as headliners. this year's headliners are already one step too close to being Reading and Leeds headliners - i don't think they'll want to make that connection again, which Biffy certainly would

plus, by the time the new album rolls around, god knows what kind of horrific setlists they'll be spewing out. i'd take a guess that only Glitter & Trauma will survive the old-songs cull

My favourite band and have liked every album so far although Opposites and Only Revolutions to me weren't too great compared to the first 4. Both had some great songs on and are some of my favourite songs by them but the albums themselves have quite a few filler songs on. Vertigo and Infinity Land are my 2 joint favourites, perfect from start to finish IMO. Looking forward to seeing them again at the IOW, hopefully play a few old songs although doubt it because of the type of festival. Anyways, definitely capable of headlining Glasto considering the amount of major festivals they will have headlined after this summer!

EDIT: I'm sure if Mumford & Sons can headline that Biffy can haha

Love all of their albums and for me there's not many band's that come near them in regards to how much they put into their shows. Gutted im not seeing them this summer, went Leeds especially for them last year and would have gone T this year if i wasnt going Optimus. Like Ipayne said it Mumford and sons can headline then Biffy certainly can. There will never be a headliner that everyone likes thats the beauty of it!
