Justin Vernon's actual band (not solo project), Volcano Choir are coming to the UK for the first time next month.

With Bon Iver at the complete fatigue stage for him, and he appeared to enjoy the festival in 2009, surely a Friday night headline set up at the Park like he did for Bon Iver would be a good call?

They have two superb albums and only tend to play 60 minute sets, so wouldn't be hindered by a festival length set.

Would surely draw quite a sizeable crowd - Repave went into the charts at number 43 recently.

I love Bon Iver

I had the fortune to stumble into him during ATP Vs Pitchfork in 2008 as he opened the stage for the day on the Sunday... then the next week I saw him in the now defunct Pressure Point stage (capacity around 100) during The Great Escape 2008.... crazy how big he's gotten since but remember him being super impactful live.

Wouldn't mind seeing Volcano Choir though I don't love their first album (the 2nd one is much better)

Would love it. Saw Bon Iver in 2009 and saw them headline Latitude in 2012. Both times they blew me away. Missed out on tickets for the Barbican show next month but think the last last Volcano Choir record is stunning. yes Please.
