Fancy Dress... you bothering?

I dislike themed fancy dress, seems forced. Rock Ness this year was "vintage / charity shop" and I didn't see a single person dressed like it.

Even so, I decided to go for their cinematic theme. Initially I thought about 300, I've been working out! But... Leonidas... I'm not quite there. Not quite yet. So I got from the same film an "Immortals" mask, with head cowl, and I'll be taking a toy light-up multi-colour LED flashing sabre to go with it.

It's not for the daytime... this is for the midnight to 3am rave hours!!

How about you?

Youll find that loads of people buy into the fancy dress theme at kendal, if you see any photos of the festival theyre almost certain to contain at least one person dressed up !

I keep trying to persuade my 13 year old to give it a go but had no joy yet ! Not something weve done in the past, maybes one day

Don't get me wrong. Fancy/weird dress happens at Rock Ness, though morph suits probably outnumber them, just not the official theme.

My festival wear is not fancy dress. It's pink ladies pyjama bottoms and strange tops. Currently I'm making daytime wear by stencilling brightly coloured t-shirts. Working on Tony Soprano tribute at the moment.
