and junction 11a apparent crash police have closed it... just a word of warning...

apparently it is also closed at 15 for roadworks, from what i've been told people are getting roadworks and the police incident.

either way take it easy people, better to take some time and get there in one piece

Junction 11A accident is mostly clear now. Emergency services have closed off 1 lane for about a quarter of a mile but that's it. Car involved was on the back of a flatbed when I went past so should be completely clear shortly, if it isn't already.

M5 closure from junctions 15-17 also fairly easily navigated via M4 and M49. Although a lot of the traffic seems to have disappeared on the other side. Wonder if people are following SatNavs and coming off at junction 15 to head through Bristol. Staying on and following the diversion to get to the A39 at junction 23 is probably easier, I reckon.

Diversions are easy to follow for the most part and dont affect journey too much, dont worrry too much about these closures assuming theyve not changed in the last couple of hours

Yeah, I got to that about midnight tuesday and I knew I'd taken a wrong turning from the detour when the Severn Bridge started looming up at me. Luckily there was a last junction to turn around at before I took an unplanned trip to Wales
