Courteeners: Only heard their newest album and select older songs which I liked, but off the new album there is nothing I really like. I wont be watching them but Im sure alot of people here will

DJ Fresh: I dont need to justify this, 10 out of 10 I think some of the songs DJ Fresh does are good, Gold dust sounds good and I will try to be there to see it, but I might have to miss it. Some of the songs arent very good, and I havent heard any mixes of two pop songs by him yet.

DJ Fresh - not bad live, but not the greatest DJ - his MC really leaves a lot to be desired! 6/10

Courteeners - will not doubt be one of the highlights of the weekend, they always are. Great festival band with great festival tunes like What Took You So Long?, You Over Did It Doll and, of course, Not Nineteen Forever. Even if you don't think you like them, watch them. They create an amazing atmosphere and I expect to have a bloody sore throat by the end if their set. 9/10

Well theres Calvin Harris that will be an outdoor DJ, but I think he would be alright outside

Yeah, I think he can carry it off - plus it will be dark which just creates a better atmosphere with light shows etc.....

Yeah, but any good DJ should be able to sound good outside, Creamfields is all outside for the main acts and its all DJ's and Dance acts. Different geography of the land must have a big impact

I think that does apply with live music, but DJ's I think need to rely a lot on visuals & lighting. A good DJ will be good anywhere, any time, but they will always be better indoors or in the dark.

Guetta just looked like it was a good show, of course I wasnt there but from what I saw on youtube he looked good. Why do you think he wasnt very good

My friends saw Guetta whilst I was seeing someone else...They said that he was good, but there were big gaps between each songs which made it drag and not really flow..

Bit late but, I'm pretty certain One direction could headline, they're just an act (like bieber) that festivals would never book

1D and Bieber aren't Festival acts - by that I mean that they have a hardcore of young fans, many of whom wouldn't go to a festival anyway, but also fans of these acts are generally obsessive with a single act rather than music itself - therefore probably 50% of the crowd

attending would be kids who have no to little

interest in any thing else on the bill.

That's why these massive pop acts concentrate on huge Arena tours rather than any sort of Festivals - it's not a new thing, look at the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Take That etc... it was the same for them.

And before any one mentions it, I am not comparing them by of their talent levels!
