unless that either wasn't a hint or means international megastar Riva Starr is headlining a stage, of course.

or the other way ardon. think someone said this the other day, jessie j played v fest early evening last year, stayed for beyonce, and then played gigs in europe the same night. on both days. as long as it's not Moscow or something playing in Europe doesnt necessarily rule someone out, seeing as all the V stages finish at 11 at the latest

If Avicii played V he would headline a stage. Cant seem him being mid day

I hope so... So, the possibilities being thrown around this year are Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z... I'm also hearing (silly) rumours on Twitter that Jay Z & Beyonce would headline together, as part of their Mr & Mrs Carter World Tour... Do you think this is a possibility? Only seems silly to me because I wouldn't have thought they'd book a repeat headliner, only one year on.

WHAT! I know it's a rumour but I bloody we'll hope she's not there again. She was awful! Such a let down.

two £1m headliners in one year? no chance :(

Then like everyone else I have no idea who it could be. How annoying.

Wireless had him and Jay Z, so they are 2 1m headliners. Same owners could mean same bookers, so they will pay out more maybe

a) Jay Z and JT were booked as a residency, and were already touring together, so probably came with one pricetag rather than two

b ) Wireless usually give people more for their money than V anyway.

Yeah 2 million for the pair :P

Do you think wireless gives more for the money? £60+ for a day ticket, and so far their are only 1 or 2 acts that you would pay more than £15 for a ticket to their normal show for Wireless. Whereas V is more expensive but I think offers more acts you would pay more that £15 for. Even last year there was only maybe 3 or 4 acts per day you would pay more than £15 for

I am waiting to see more names for Wireless before I decide if I want to try and go. My gf wont be coming with me its her friends bday that weekend so i might try get uni people to go, or just not go

£170-ish for a weekend ticket and you get three days for that so that's already better value than V.

3 days with no camping, and still with less top top acts. Apart from headliners and 2 subs each day, they have no one that big

    • Possibly not as there are chair size restrictions in the seated area, for the guidelines see here -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/bring   Have a look into applying for Access and I would recommend contacting them for further advice before buying a ticket - https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/access  They should also be able to answer if you can take a wheelchair into the seated area 🙂
    • Jawbreaker for the band that nobody would predict?
    • Jason Isbell and Blue October in London, both gigs on SFF
    • They don't strike me as a band that'd even enter the conversation for Trees
