Unwanted tickets?

Thats a bit harsh, the steward has no way of knowing if you've bought that ticket fair and square from a punter who cant go for face value blah, if youve paid 500 for it from a ripoff merchant or if you've nicked it at a service station. Theres a difference between jobsworth and you know, doing the job you're there for.

Very articulate and well put!

Of course we understand the face is on the ticket to be checked! But our point is its true purpose was to prevent large scale touting and it's been a success in stopping this. In the spirit of the festival everyone is aware that an individual circumstances can change and if they wish to sell their ticket at face value allowing someone else to enjoy the festival, what harms in that?? You would have to be a right kill joy to be working on a gate and deprive someone access!

No I'm not a kill joy , try looking at this from this point of view , you don't have a valid ticket for the festival

so why should you think the rules (set byGLF) don't apply to you , I admit the system for sending tickets back

is not perfect but it is the best one around

If you get in I hope you have a great time :)

If not please don't kick off with the stewards I have seen some reduced to tears by comments made to them

We are only here to raise around £500 000 for OXFAM to help alleviate suffering around the world

Peace

We do think the rules apply and that's why going in on someone else's is tickets is stressful! everyone aware of the risk! But you just hope the stewards are willing to turn a blind eye to the odd one in the knowledge that touting is under control and there's very good chance the ticket as been bought from a genuine person who couldn't go and this is there chance to enjoy the festival! It obviously means a lot to them if there willing to chance it! We know you have a job to do but is it really that big of deal to deny someone their weekend! The 500k is still being raised infact you raise more letting them in cause their going to be spending money in site!

Poor me, poor me, poor me! You shit out in not getting a ticket, it's a tough break, but that's the way them chips fall man. The world and his mate don't owe you a favour in turning a blind eye and letting you in because if they do it for you, why shouldn't they do it for 10,000's of others? What makes you so special?
