Booking fee and transaction fee

Just looking at my balance reminder email and noticed this

plus a £5 booking fee) per person; plus a £6 transaction fee per order.

Surely booking fee and transaction fee are the same thing

Booking fee is a fee per ticket which is what See tickets get per ticket sold

Yeap, it was these little things that added up and contributed to me not going.

£16 admin charges on top of a £410 tickets between two people is taking the piss a bit. Add on top of that Car Parking (understandable but it has gone up £10 in 3 years) and the total amount soon adds up.

Isn't this see tickets profit? If you assume £2 of that is for postage, that leaves £9 profit peep ticket (less if multiple people pay together), which is a gross margin of 4%, out of which comes all staff/taxes/IT and all other costs. Which isn't a lot of profit especially compared to some organisations.

That said, I wish they would not dress it up as different fees, and would just roll it together as one admin charge.

I agree if it was all together as one fee probably wouldn't have annoyed me but was confused yesterday when adding it all up 2 tickets caravan tickets booking fees then seen that transaction fee and went $¥¥'!!!!

I know its annoying but I think they split it up so you can see where the money is going, whats going to the festival/whats going to see/whats going to the royal mail and ticket printing.
